Zrii Amalaki Benefits and Ingredients
1. Amalaki Amalaki has been the subject of extensive research, demonstrating its antioxidant, antiviral and antibiotic properties. Preliminary evidence shows that its extracts induce improvement in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis.
Experiments with the leaves, bark and fruits have shown their effectiveness against inflammatory and other age-related diseases, cancer, kidney diseases and diabetes.
A pilot study showed the reduction of normal blood cholesterol levels and hypercholesterolemia in men.
Another recent study with rodents shows that the fruit extract has a positive effect against diabetes, significantly decreasing blood glucose levels, as well as triglyceride levels and an improvement in liver function caused by a normalization of the specific liver enzyme Alanine aminotransferase .
The fruits have a reputation for containing large amounts of ascorbic acid (vitamin C), 445 mg/100g, the specific content being, in general, a powerful antioxidant derived from its high density of tannins and other polyphenols.
The fruit also contains flavonoids, kaempferol, ellagic acid and gallic acid. Among other important properties, the fruit is a powerful immunostimulant and aphrodisiac.
2. Jujube Jujube or Chinese date has important nutritional properties besides anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-ulcer. It is a rejuvenator for the skin.
Plant mucilages are essentially soluble fiber. A high concentration of mucilages helps to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood, as this fibre prevents excess cholesterol from being absorbed by the intestine and promotes its elimination.
It also causes good intestinal function, preventing and curing diarrhea or constipation.

Mucilages also help eliminate toxins from the body, so they have a high purifying value and prevent serious diseases such as cancer, since these toxins promote the appearance of cancer cells in the body.
Soluble fiber coats and protects the intestine, so it helps treat gastritis or heartburn.
The vitamin C in jujube Jujube contains up to 20 times more vitamin C than an orange for example. Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, is one of the most important vitamins because it has many benefits for our health, among them its antioxidant properties and its ability to improve our body's immune system.
The betulinic acid the jujube The jujube, like the birch bark, contains a good proportion of betulinic acid.
Currently, numerous studies are being carried out in different universities and pharmaceutical laboratories with betulinic acid or betulinol, as it has very good anti-viral and immunological properties.
Its application in anti-cancer drugs or for the treatment of HIV is being studied and it has now become a good focus of hope for these treatments.
All this makes jujube a great "natural medicine" with multiple medicinal properties, so much so that in Traditional Chinese Medicine, jujube ("dazao") is a highly valued fruit used to treat different conditions.
Jujube and Traditional Chinese Medicine In traditional Chinese medicine, jujube is used to balance the meridians of the spleen (Yin nature) and the stomach (Yang nature), to nourish and purify the blood, and to balance and relax the mind.
The spleen (pi) is the main organ of digestion, as it is responsible for transforming the nutrients in food into Qi (vital energy) and Blood. If the spleen does not function properly, energy or digestion problems can arise, or be caused by poor blood flow or "poor" blood in nutrients, all of which are usually represented on the outside by pale, dry lips, a bad taste in the mouth or a "mushy" feeling in the mouth.
On the other hand, the imbalance of the spleen will produce loss of intellectual memory (difficulty in working or studying), lack of concentration, psychological discomfort, obsessions, nervousness, insomnia or sadness.
3. Curcuma hionga
Research has been conducted on the phytochemicals contained in turmeric for potential effects on diseases such as cancer, arthritis, diabetes and other chemical disorders. As an example of the results of this basic research, turmeric reduced the severity of lung damage in mice as a result of pancreatic disease.
According to one report, research activity on turmeric and curcumin is increasing. 11] As of September 2012, the US National Institutes of Health has registered 71 completed or ongoing clinical trials to study the use of dietary curcumin in various clinical disorders.
Some studies show that certain compounds in turmeric have anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, but curcumin is not one of them.
In another preliminary study, curcumin is being tested to see if it alters the response to chemotherapy in patients with advanced bowel cancer, as demonstrated in a laboratory study.
4. Ginger Galen, the famous Greek physician, used it as a medicine to correct tumors, body defects and in treatments of paralysis caused by excess phlegm.
Avicenna, a renowned Persian physician of classical Islamic culture, recommended it as an aphrodisiac, highly beneficial in the treatment of "sexual weakness".
2] Medical research has shown that ginger root is an effective treatment for nausea caused by travel sickness and for pregnant women.
It has no known teratogenic effect, so it is safe during pregnancy.
It is also useful in other dyspepsia with nausea and mild gastritis, as demonstrated in a
study published by The Lancet, with 36 people susceptible to dizziness who took ginger before spinning it for six minutes in a motorized chair, with extremely low or no results.
It can be used in decoction or in fluid extract. It is also used as a gastrointestinal stimulant, tonic and expectorant, among others.
. It is a stimulant of the central nervous system and autonomic nervous system.
Contains antioxidants. Externally, it is used to treat trauma and rheumatism.
Rhizomes are spicy, they are widely sold in the markets. Rhizome decoction is used to treat gastrointestinal conditions (colic, diarrhea, inappetence, indigestion, flatulence, nausea),
Respiratory (tonsillitis, asthma, bronchitis, colds, fever, influenza, inflammation of the throat, pleurisy, pneumonia, colds, hoarseness, cough, pertussis) malaria, gout, dysmenorrhea, and rheumatism .
5. Haritaki Several studies show that Terminalia chebula helps decrease the incidence of diabetic nephropathy.
Generally, this pathology is associated with proteinuria, which is considered by many researchers to be a latent nephropathy, and also serves as an indicator of endothelial dysfunction throughout the body.
The physiopathology of diabetic nephropathy also involves intense irreversible glycolysis of capillary endothelium proteins and the formation of cross-links between them, resulting in the modification of capillary vessels, and thus, the progressive loss of renal function.
Angiotensin II, fibronectin, platelet-derived growth factor and other mediators contribute to the progression of kidney failure.
The use of Terminalia chebula extracts slows down the progress of nephropathy, but the mechanism of action has not yet been determined with complete accuracy.

duodenogástrico y gastroesofageal.
It can be considered as a natural alternative, similar to currently available prokinetic drugs.
Anti-allergic Terminalia chebula extracts have the effect of decreasing the release of histamine into the primed cells, attenuating allergic reactions.
Anti-microbial The extracts possess antibacterial activity against Salmonella typhi, Salmonella typhimurium, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomona aeruginosa, enteropathogenic strains of Escherichia coli and Yersinia enterocolitica, which indicates that the fruit's peel extracts may be recommended for the treatment of diarrheal and urinary tract infections, skin infections, intestinal microflora disorders after antibiotic therapy and other related infections.
Anti-mycotic Decreases the growth of Candida albicans. Activity against Helicobacter pilory Inhibits the development of Helicobacter pilory in vitro or in vivo
This bacterium infects the mucus in the human stomach epithelium and has the ability to subsist in an extremely acidic environment, such as the human stomach.
Many ulcers and some types of gastritis are due to Helicobacter pylori infections. In many cases, infected people never develop any symptoms.
Antioxidant Plant components inhibit lipid peroxidation and decrease superoxide anion production.
Antiviral Terminalia chebula has been used against acute respiratory infections since ancient times.
It has therapeutic activity against Herpes simplex virus (HSV), influenza A virus and Cytomegalovirus (CMV).
By Mariajosé Fernández M.
All researchers conclude that this plant can be recommended for the treatment and prevention of opportunistic infections, both in patients undergoing chemotherapy or those who are HIV-positive.
Indications: Diabetes mellitus, type I and II, Constipation, Gastritis, Hemorrhoids, Helicobacter pylori infection. Skin infections, intestinal infections, acute respiratory infections.
6. Tulsi Tulsí is considered an adaptogen, which balances different body processes and helps to adapt to stress. It has also been shown that tulsí could protect against radiation poisoning and cataracts.
