Zrii Amalaki Benefits and Ingredients

1. Amalaki Amalaki has been the subject of extensive research, demonstrating its antioxidant, antiviral and antibiotic properties.[1] Preliminary evidence shows that its extracts induce improvement in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis.

Experiments with the leaves, bark and fruits have demonstrated their effectiveness against inflammatory and other age-related diseases, cancer, renal diseases and diabetes.

A pilot study demonstrated the reduction of normal blood cholesterol levels and hypercholesterolemia in men.

Another recent study with rodents shows that the fruit extract has a positive effect against diabetes, significantly decreasing blood glucose levels, as well as triglyceride levels and an improvement in liver function caused by a normalization of the specific liver enzyme Alanine aminotransferase .

The fruits have a reputation for containing large amounts of ascorbic acid (vitamin C), 445 mg/100g, the specific content is, in general, a powerful antioxidant derived from its high density of tannins and other polyphenols.

The fruit also contains flavonoids, kaempferol, ellagic acid and gallic acid. Among other important properties, the fruit is a powerful immunostimulant and aphrodisiac.

2. Jujube Jujube or Chinese date has important nutritional properties in addition to anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-ulcer. It is a rejuvenator for the skin.

The vegetable mucilages are essentially soluble fiber. A high concentration of mucilages helps to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood, since this fibre prevents the cholesterol from being absorbed in excess by the intestine and favours its elimination.

The spleen (pi) is the main organ of digestion, as it is responsible for transforming the nutrients in food into Qi (vital energy) and Blood. If the spleen does not function properly, energy or digestive problems can arise, or be caused by poor blood flow or “poor” blood in nutrients, all of which are often represented on the outside by pale, dry lips, a bad taste in the mouth or a “mushy” feeling in the mouth.

On the other hand, the imbalance of the spleen will produce loss of intellectual memory (difficulty in working or studying), lack of concentration, psychological discomfort, obsessions, nervousness, insomnia or sadness.

3. Curcuma hionga

Research has been conducted on the phytochemicals contained in turmeric for potential effects on diseases [4] such as [4] cancer, [5] [6] arthritis, diabetes [7] and other chemical disorders. [8] [9] As an example of the results of this basic research, turmeric reduced the severity of lung damage in mice as a result of pancreatic disease.

According to one report, research activity on turmeric and curcumin is increasing. 11] As of September 2012, the US National Institutes of Health has registered 71 completed or ongoing clinical trials[12] to study the use of dietary curcumin in various clinical disorders.

Some studies show that certain compounds in turmeric have anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, but curcumin is not one of them.

In another preliminary study, curcumin is being tested to see if it alters the response to chemotherapy in patients with advanced bowel cancer,[14] as demonstrated in a laboratory study.

4. Ginger Galen, the famous Greek physician, used it as a medicine to correct tumors, body defects and in treatments of paralysis caused by excess phlegm.

Avicenna, a renowned Persian physician of classical Islamic culture, recommended it as an aphrodisiac, highly beneficial in the treatment of “sexual weakness”.

It has no known teratogenic effect, so it is safe during pregnancy.

It can be used in decoction or in fluid extract. It is also used as a gastrointestinal stimulant, tonic and expectorant, among others.

. It is a stimulant of the central nervous system and autonomic nervous system.

It contains antioxidants. Externally it is used to treat trauma and rheumatism.

The rhizomes are spicy, they are widely sold in the markets. Rhizome decoction is used to treat gastrointestinal conditions (colic, diarrhea, inappetence, indigestion, flatulence, nausea),[5] [6] [7] [8].

Respiratory (tonsillitis, asthma, bronchitis, colds, fever, influenza, inflammation of the throat, pleurisy, pneumonia, colds, hoarseness, cough, pertussis) [8] [9] [10] malaria, gout, dysmenorrhea, and rheumatism [5] [8] [11].

5. Haritaki Several studies show that Terminalia chebula helps decrease the incidence of diabetic nephropathy.

It is generally associated with proteinuria, which many researchers consider to be a latent nephropathy, and serves as an indicator of endothelial dysfunction throughout the body.

The pathophysiology of diabetic nephropathy also involves intense irreversible glycolysis of capillary endothelial proteins and the formation of cross-links between them, resulting in the modification of capillary vessels, and thus, the progressive loss of renal function.

Angiotensin II, fibronectin, platelet-derived growth factor and other mediators contribute to the progression of renal failure.

The use of extracts of Terminalia chebula slows the progression of nephropathy, but the mechanism of action has not yet been determined with complete accuracy.
